Land is cleared!

I cannot believe how different the land looks when cleared for construction!  Once it is done being a swamp after Saturday's deluge the well, septic and basement can commence!

First logs are erected! Well, the mailbox logs :)

Today the mailbox, erected on Sunday, was completed with numbers!  We officially have an address available by postal mail, despite the fact we are not living on the property yet. It also happened to be the first day they were able to clear part of the land. Progress, I'll take it! Observe the meticulously selected and numbered cedar post :)
